How Grovis handles your data during the beta.
Last updated: 11 October 2026
The short version
Your workouts, weights and settings stay on your phone. We do not receive them.
If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address so we can tell you when Grovis launches and send you the launch offer.
We do not sell your data, we do not show ads and we do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Who we are
Grovis is a gym training app run by its founder from Serbia. For anything about your data, write to [email protected].
What we collect and why
Waitlist. When you join the waitlist we store your email address, the date you joined, your browser language, the language of the page and the country your request came from (worked out by our host from your connection, not your exact location). We use this only to email you about the launch and the offer for early members, and to know which countries and languages to prepare for. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by joining.
The app. The app has no accounts during the beta. Your profile answers, workouts, weights, records and settings are saved in your browser on your own device. They are not sent to us. If you clear your browser data or delete the app, they are gone.
Hosting. grovis.app is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any website host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks.
Cookies. We set one cookie, lang, only if you choose a language with the EN / SR switch, so the site remembers your choice. The app saves its own data in your browser (local storage) for the reasons above. There are no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Fonts are served from grovis.app itself, not from Google.
Where your data is kept
Waitlist entries are stored in Cloudflare Workers KV. Cloudflare, Inc. is based in the United States and may process data outside Serbia and the European Union; it offers standard contractual safeguards for such transfers.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist entry until 12 months after Grovis launches, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the data we hold about you, to stop using it, or to give it to you in a portable form. You can also withdraw your consent and leave the waitlist at any time. Write to [email protected] and we will answer within 30 days.
If you think we handle your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection of Serbia (poverenik.rs) or to the data protection authority in your country.
Children
Grovis is meant for people aged 16 and over. Please do not join the waitlist if you are younger.
Changes
When Grovis launches in the app stores, with accounts and payments, this policy will change. We will update this page and tell people on the waitlist by email before the changes apply to them.
